About Us

CUI, formerly known as Christians United Inc., was founded by Donna Tate, Peggy Daniel, and Chinester Graves. CUI partnered with Embrace the Temple Ministry of The Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church. For 10 years, CUI co-sponsored the annual AIDS Walk with the Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church and has collaborated with a wide range of church and community leaders to draw attention to the AIDS pandemic. Partnerships with individuals, community organizations, and concerned citizens have resulted in awareness and prevention and funds have been raised to further education through designated community-based organizations. In addition to the walk, each year, CUI offer various workshops on health literacy, financial literacy, domestic violence, and mentoring to families and children.
